About Park Güell
Park Güell is one of the most representative works of Catalan modernism and one of Barcelona’s great cultural symbols. Designed by Antoni Gaudí at the beginning of the 20th century, it was conceived as an innovative residential project inspired by the European garden-city movement. Its extraordinary artistic and architectural value led to its declaration as a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1984.
