Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

1. What documentation do I need to access the monument?

Park Güell does not require you to present valid identification along with your tickets. However, it is recommended to bring some form of ID in case it is needed. If your ticket includes a discount or special rate, be sure to bring the relevant documentation to prove eligibility.

2. Where is the entrance to Park Güell?

The park spans more than 12 hectares and has three entrances. The main entrance is located at the intersection of Carrer d’Olot and Carrer de Larrard, which is best reached by city bus. Another entrance is on Avinguda del Santuari de Sant Josep de la Muntanya, recommended if you’re arriving by metro. The third entrance is on Carretera del Carmel, next to the coach parking area.

Driving your own vehicle is not recommended, as parking options nearby are limited and the monument’s designated parking is paid.

3. Can I use digital tickets?

Yes, absolutely. You can present your official tickets in any digital format, as long as the QR code is visible and scannable.

4. Are Park Güell tickets official?

Yes. The tickets you receive by email before your visit are official. Ticket management is handled through the Barcelona de Serveis Municipals website: (https://parkguell.barcelona/).

5. Do children need tickets?

Yes. Children under the age of 7 can enter for free, but you must still include them in your booking, as everyone needs a ticket to access the park. Entry will be denied without a valid ticket.

6. Can I modify or cancel my tickets?

Each product specifies its own cancellation and change policy.

7. Can I exercise my right of withdrawal?

No. As stated in Law 3/2014 of March 27, which amends the consolidated text of the General Law for the Defense of Consumers and Users (approved by Royal Legislative Decree 1/2007 of November 16), article 103 outlines exceptions to the right of withdrawal, including:

8. If I book with an AUDIO GUIDE

Depending on the monument, you may collect the audioguide at the ticket office or receive credentials with your ticket to use it as an app. Most monuments in Barcelona offer app-based audioguides, so be sure to bring your smartphone with enough battery, headphones, and storage space to install the official app.

9. Is the visit accessible for people with reduced mobility?

Many areas of Park Güell are accessible, but due to the size and terrain, some parts are uneven or have different elevation levels.

To assist visitors with reduced mobility or those using wheelchairs, Park Güell offers additional services such as wheelchair rental, specific accessible routes, and even an inclusive mobile app.

10. Can I visit with a baby stroller?

Yes, the adaptations that improve accessibility for wheelchair users have also enhanced access for families with strollers. However, due to the uneven terrain, the use of strollers is still not recommended.
